Course Description:
The 32 Hours Supervisor Site Safety course includes the following courses:

4-Hour Supported Scaffold

2-Hour Drug and Alcohol Awareness

2-Hour Site Safety Plan
-
2-Hour Tool Box Talks

2-Hour Pre-Task Safety Meetings

2-General Electives
-
2-Special Electives
Academic Achievement:
Once the course has been completed, the student should:
-
Be able to identify and explain terminology associated with falls in construction
-
Be able to recognize, avoid and prevent fall hazards to minimize harm
-
Be able to outline regulatory safety requirement associated with falls, including OSHA's Subpart M
-
Be able to learn how to make informed decisions when working at heights
-
Be able to calculate fall distances for various types of fall arrest devices
-
Be able to identify proper anchorage points
Prerequisites: 30 Hr OSHA card - completed with an approved OSHA instructor or approved online training provider.
Policy: Students are required to complete 100% of the course and actively participate in all learning activities. Make-up time is not permitted for this training course.
Course Examination: Students must earn a 70% or more in their final exam in order to successfully complete the course.
Awarding of Certifications, CEUs, or Transcripts: Upon successful course completion students will receive a certificate of Completion from Safe Connect Us. Students will receive their 32 hour SST card. Cards can be picked up at the office by the student.
